If a known brand like, “Badshaa” gets an engagement of 0.8% of the total reach on his new video, it is safe to assume that your best content will find it challenging to beat that performance.

To get the highest possible engagement on social media, here are a few tips to follow.

Step 1: Focus on creating content (photos or videos) for your target audience.

People engage with content that they find interesting, useful and relevant.  So, you need to think about your target audience and answer three questions:

  1. What kind of content will your audience find interesting? Why?
  2. What kind of content will your audience find useful? How will they use it? What benefit will they get by using it?
  3. What kind of content will your audience find relevant? Why?

If you can answer these questions accurately, you have won half the battle.

Step 2: Do not compromise on creating the content.

Sharing quotes, jokes, anecdotes, candid photos, curated content, links, recommendations, etc works great to create relationship.

Step 4: Thank people for engaging with you.

Relationships are build on reciprocity. This means you must thank people to engage with your content as soon as possible. This re-enforces your brand name and encourages them to engage more often.
